Opportunities to join the Park for NC House campaign staff
Several core leadership roles are already filled, including Campaign Manager, Treasurer, Field Director, and Community Outreach. We are now seeking individuals for the following positions:

Role: Supports the Communications Director in executing the campaign’s messaging, digital presence, and media outreach, helping ensure consistent, timely, and effective communication across platforms.
Responsibilities:
Assist with drafting and scheduling social media content, emails, and campaign updates
Help manage content calendars and track communications deadlines
Support press outreach, including drafting press releases or media pitches as needed
Monitor engagement and flag opportunities or issues for the Communications Director
Help maintain message consistency across platforms and materials
Provide backup coverage when the Communications Director is unavailable

Role: Leads and supports the campaign’s fundraising efforts by organizing donor outreach, fundraising events, and grassroots contributions in collaboration with the Campaign Manager and Treasurer.
Responsibilities:
Help develop and implement the campaign’s overall fundraising plan
Assist with donor outreach, including call time support and relationship-building
Organize and support fundraising events (house parties, meet-and-greets, online fundraisers)
Encourage and mobilize supporters to contribute and fundraise within their own networks
Work closely with the Treasurer to ensure fundraising activities align with campaign goals and compliance requirements

Role: Recruits, trains, and supports campaign volunteers. Responsibilities:
Maintain volunteer database
Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments
Conduct volunteer onboarding and training sessions
Serve as point of contact for volunteer questions and issues

Role: Oversees digital advertising, social media analytics, and online engagement, supporting CM/Communications Director. Responsibilities:
Plan and execute digital ad campaigns
Track online engagement metrics and report to CM
Manage website updates and digital content scheduling
Collaborate with CM/Communications Director for cohesive messaging

Role: Supports candidate with research on policy issues, legislation, and opposition research. Responsibilities:
Conduct issue research and prepare briefs
Monitor local news, legislation, and opponent activity
Provide summaries and recommendations to CM and candidate
Support communications team with fact-checking and background info

Role: Keeps the campaign running smoothly by handling day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks, serving as a central point of contact for incoming messages, requests, and “random things that pop up.”
Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to campaign email and social media messages (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), routing requests to the appropriate team member when needed
Keep shared drives, calendars, and internal documents organized and up to date
Maintain and update online tools such as ActBlue pages, volunteer sign-up forms, and basic campaign links
Assist with scheduling, reminders, and internal coordination
Support compliance-related organization by tracking forms, deadlines, and shared records (in coordination with the Treasurer)
Provide general administrative support to campaign staff and volunteers as needs arise

Role: Assist staff with executing tasks under supervision. Responsibilities:
Draft social media posts, graphics, and content calendars
Conduct research and prepare briefing materials
Support voter outreach, canvassing, and events
Perform administrative and operational support tasks
Receive mentorship, feedback, and skill-building opportunities
